Visma has acquired EnviDan Selvkost, a leading provider of a cost recovery solution for Norwegian municipalities. The acquisition further strengthens Visma’s position as a significant software provider for the public sector in Norway.
EnviDan Selvkost is Norway's leading company in its field and has more than 70 percent of Norwegian municipalities on its customer list. Their solution is used by municipalities, waste companies and harbours to calculate fees for public services following legal requirements.
“I am thrilled to welcome EnviDan Selvkost into the Visma family,” said Halvor Walla, Managing Director of the Visma company Framsikt AS. “They have a solid competence within public financial management and development of financial models, especially for resource-intensive clients in the public sector. We see a huge potential for further development of these solutions, in cooperation with Framsikt, which delivers software solutions for planning, budgeting and business management to municipalities.”
“We are excited about our new owners, as Visma is a perfect match to help us realise the potential and future growth of EnviDan Selvkost through different synergies. We have a strong market position and an excellent product that customers are happy with. We look forward to further developing this together with Visma,” said Martin Brenne, Managing Director of Envidan AS.
