Visma had a strong quarter with solid top-line revenue and profit growth. Four new SaaS/Cloud businesses were acquired during the quarter.
In the second quarter 2017, Visma delivered revenue of NOK 2,217 million, compared with NOK 1,991 million in the same period last year, an increase of 11.3 percent. EBITDA improved with 7.9 percent over Q2 2016 to reach NOK 481 million, yielding a EBITDA margin of 21.7 percent.
Strong revenue growth
Revenues in each of Visma’s three largest divisions grew by over 10 percent year on year. Compared to the second quarter 2016, the revenue grew by 10.5 percent in the SMB Division, 16.9 percent in Enterprise and 19.2 in Custom Solutions.
SaaS and SaaS transactions continue to be the strongest driver of organic growth in Visma. Software SaaS solutions annualized repeatable revenue grew by 27.3 percent during the quarter.
Acquired four cloud businesses
Visma continues its proactive activity and has acquired NYCE Solutions, Comenius, Megaflex and Infrastone. All the four businesses have a strong focus on Cloud/SaaS products.
